Los escudos que hago no son atrapasueños, muchas personas cuando los ven me dicen “ah! un atrapasueños”, no, los atrapasueños son escudos que se utilizan para colocarlos encima de la cama para atrapar las pesadillas o malos sueños y por la mañana los libera.
Estos son escudos de protección, a veces les coloco espejos, que sirven para rechazar o devolver las energías negativas hacia quien las está mandando. Otras veces les coloco runas de protección, o plumas colgando, que al moverse, limpian de energías negativas el ambiente. El trabajo es muy variado, dependiendo de los materiales a los que tenga acceso y la inspiración del momento.
A veces los escudos son creado por un sólo lado, éstos son para colocarlos en la pared, pues no es bueno que el escudo de vueltas y se quede dando la espalda a la habitación o lugar donde se coloquen. Otras son creados por los dos lados y éstos sí son para colocarlos de manera que giren en la habitación y protejan y miren a 360 grados.
Recuerdo la historia de mi primer escudo, se lo regalé a un muy bien querido amigo mio, su familia tenía muchos problemas personales. Un día me apareció mi amigo diciendome que su casa se había quemado, toda la casa había ardido en llamas menos la parte donde estaba el escudo y su habitación que estaba junto a este. Por gracia divina su familia no sufrió daños y ese fuego al final parece que vino a purificar ese lugar pues muchos de los problemas que tenían comenzaron a sanarse.
